Rapheal Crump

Rapheal Crump is an American artist, based in Dallas, whose nostalgic “Nothing Lasts” painting series not only celebrates the sneakerhead culture around collecting deadstock footwear, but also documents the rarefied art of decaying vintage shoes whose soles crumble—unworn—in their shoeboxes. His colorful paintings invite the viewer into what he hopes is a “relatable story of life in the concrete jungle.”
