Isabel Brinck

Isabel Brinck is a Chilean artist, based in Miami, whose ‘ONEIRIC’ painting series begins first with automatic drawings ”done in the unselfconscious manner of the Surrealists ”that she then transfers to canvas with intentional applications of harmonious color. She populates her compositions with distinctive abstract characters ”who, she says, “despite their drama and deformity, show tenderness and kindness.”
