“Jackie Leishman is an American artist, based in Los Angeles, whose ‘Yosemite’ series explores ‘the beauty found in tension, in nature, and in our lives.’ Through collage, and with the application of ink, pastels, and paint, she explores and expresses ideas that are seemingly at odds with each other—creation and destruction, expansion and contraction—piecing together fragments of old projects and various materials in new relationships with each other to create something whole.” -Nicole Garton, Fair Director
