The Other Art Fair Chicago

Following the successful West Coast launch in Los Angeles this month, The Other Art Fair is thrilled to announce further expansion in the States with the inaugural edition of The Other Art Fair Chicago on September 27-30, 2018 at the prestigious arts hub Mana Contemporary. 

Presented by Saatchi Art, The Other Art Fair Chicago will showcase work by over 100 emerging and independent artists. These artists will be hand picked by a Selection Committee of art world experts, giving art lovers the unique opportunity to meet and buy directly from some of the best emerging artists.

Mana Contemporary Chicago is a rapidly expanding art center set in an enormous landmark building in Chicago’s Pilsen neighborhood. Designed by noted Chicago architect George Nimmons, the building is now home to dozens of artists studios, exhibition spaces, classrooms, a central cafe, a library and more. Mana Contemporary strives to grow a vital community of Chicago artists, showcasing their practices, processes, and ideas to the public. The Other Art Fair Chicago is set to support this ethos, providing a platform for emerging artists to exhibit their work to a new audience.

Continuing to grow within the art world, The Other Art Fair is recognized as the definitive place to discover exciting and emerging talent, attracting an audience of over 15,500 visitors and art buyers.  All artists are hand picked by a Selection Committee of art experts. Not only about selling artworks, the four days enable artists to launch their work in the contemporary art world, gauge the public’s response to their pieces and meet fellow artists for potential future collaborations. Artists will receive marketing and PR support, plus a profile on saatchiart.com/theotherartfair with scope to be featured as a highlight fair artist on the canvas blog and fair collections.

There is no application fee. Stand fees apply according to stand size. This fee includes:

• Your own fully built stand with name board and spotlights
• Marketing and PR support
• Exposure to our network of gallerists, critics and collectors
• Continued marketing support for one month following the fair
• Pre-fair artist workshop run by the fair team
• A profile on saatchiart.com/theotherartfair with scope to be featured as a highlight fair artist on the Canvas blog and fair collections.
