Brooklyn: Lucien Zayan Joins May 2019 Selection Committee
Introducing our first member of our esteemed Selection Committee for the upcoming 5th edition of The Other Art Fair Brooklyn to take place during Frieze Week (May 2 – 5) at the Brooklyn Expo Center.
Lucien Zayan was born and raised in France. He spent 25 years working for prestigious European cultural institutions like Odeon-Theatre de l’Europe (Paris), Festival International d’Art Lyrique (Aix en Provence), Theatre de la Madeleine (Paris). In 2008, after a three months trip in NYC, he founded The Invisible Dog Art Center (Brooklyn), a multidisciplinary space commissioning and presenting visual art exhibitions, theater, dance, music, performance and also providing working space for resident artists. He recently opened a new food/art space called “la Salle A Manger (call me SAM)’. Zayan lives and works on Bergen Street, Brooklyn.
