Brooklyn: Introducing Selection Committee Member Amber Harper

We are thrilled to unveil our esteemed London Selection Committee. These members of a globally significant art community set the high standard of the fair, ensuring you can buy from our artists with the confidence that you are investing in the very best of emerging talent.

The third member of our Brooklyn Fall edition 2017 committee is Assistant Curator at The Drawing Center in New York, Amber Harper.

Amber Harper holds an MA in Modern Art: Critical and Curatorial Studies from Columbia University. At The Drawing Center, she is curating an exhibition of drawing and film by the artist Raha Raissnia and has worked with Chief Curator Claire Gilman on the exhibitions Cecily Brown: Rehearsal and Drawing Dialogues: Selections from the Sol LeWitt Collection, among others.

Before joining the curatorial team at The Drawing Center, Amber Harper was a Curatorial Research Assistant at the Whitney Museum of American Art where she worked on the exhibition Frank Stella: A Retrospective. She has been a visiting critic at the Maryland Institute College of Art, Baltimore, and in New York at Hunter College, Residency Unlimited, and the Sharpe-Walentas Foundation.
