Currently chalk on wet canvas.

About 15, intermittently.

Where is your studio?
In my home.

Prefer to work with music or in silence?
That changes periodically.

What was the best advice given to you as an artist?  
Get on with it!

Art school or self-taught?
I’m self taught

If you couldn’t be an artist, what would you do?
I would be a circus director, of course.

Where can we find you outside the studio?
Walking in the woods, having a cup of coffee, or going on errands; my life is simple.

Use anything other than paint?
From time to time I like to incorporate computer works on some pictures of my paintings.

What do you collect?
Nothing to get excited about.

Is painting dead?
Definitely not.

Favorite Brush?
My fingers.

Favorite contemporary artist?
I have no favorite artist. My taste is continually changing.

If you could only have one piece of art in your life, what would it be?
I’m not really crazy about artworks in the house, but I’m glad to have some works from friends and fellows around here.

Who are your favorite writers?
Patricia Highsmith, Sibylle Berg, and many more…
