London: Call For Artists

Exhibit at The Other Art Fair October 2017.

The Other Art Fair returns to the iconic Old Truman Brewery this autumn on 5-8 October. Taking place during Frieze week, the fair presents the major satellite event of London’s Art Week showcasing 130 unrepresented and emerging artists.

An unmissable event in the global art calendar, Frieze focuses the spotlight on London with international collectors, gallerists and critics flying into the capital for these crucial few days. The Other Art Fair gives artists the chance to exhibit to this prime audience as one of the best 130 emerging artists working today.

Not only about selling artworks, these four days enable artists to launch their work in the contemporary art world, gauge the public’s response to their pieces and meet fellow artists for potential future collaborations. The October 2016 fair welcomed over 14,000 visitors and attracted representatives from leading arts organisations such as Tate, Blain Southern, Sotheby’s Institute, Gazelli Art House, White Cube, Christie’s and Lisson Gallery. Many artists have been approached about public and private commissions as well as post- fair sales and gallery collaborations. All of which is testament to London’s desire for direct access to cutting edge work.

“Exhibiting at The Other art Fair makes you feel part of the art world in London. The Other Art Fair has a great energy and is a very friendly art fair. The city has many artists, art fairs and galleries and it’s overwhelming trying to figure out where one fits as an artist. As an independent artist, it’s an amazing opportunity to showcase your work to thousands of art lovers and art industry people, to gain exposure and meet new clients.”
