And the Oscar Goes to…Art Inspired by Global Cinema
Well, the Academy Awards have come and gone, but the Oscar hubbub is far from over. We don’t know about you, but as we watched the telecast, we paid particular attention to all the foreign films. What can we say? We love movies from around the world almost as much as we love art from around the world.
In case you didn’t get to the chance see many of the foreign language nominees (congrats to winner, Amour!), we’ve rounded up a list of the year’s most celebrated international films and present them here with a sampling of art by Saatchi Online artists working in the countries that produced the films.
Pop some popcorn and take a trip with us around the world of art… and then let us know which works deserve “Oscar gold”!
