Tomas Nemec is a graduate of the Academy of Fine Arts in Prague and the Utrecht School of the Arts in the Netherlands. His paintings are characterised by a gestural use of paint, emotionally charged subject matter and subtle palette. Described by some as a neo impressionist, Nemec takes inspiration from his immediate reality, as well as photography and his own imagination. He has exhibited his work widely in Europe in both solo and group shows, and has sold his work to collectors worldwide.
