Cheolhee Lim
Based in Daegu, South Korea, Cheolhee Lim creates abstract portraits that reflect the inner consciousness of the sitter. Using a palette knife and large drips of paint, Cheolhee obscures the subject’s face while revealing personality through the color and movement of the paint. Cheolhee received his BFA in Painting and MA in Art Education at Keimyung University. Lauren Jade Szabo
Lauren Jade Szabo is a Los Angeles-born artist who lives and works in Oakland. Her captivating paintings combine the real with the fantastic, bringing a sense of wonder to everyday sights. Lauren graduated with a BFA in Illustration from California College of the Arts and received an MFA Fellowship from the San Francisco Art Institute for graduate study in Painting, which she completed in 2018. Karo Martirosyan
Glass and metal sculpture artist Karo Martirosyan was born in Armenia and raised in California. His dynamic compositions are inspired by architecture and the powerful beauty of nature. Through his designs, Karo hopes to intrigue the viewer as the grid elicits a feeling of orderliness and the seemingly floating glass induces a sense of lightness. Karo received his degree in Architecture from California State Polytechnic University, Pomona, and he has also exhibited at The Other Art Fair. See more of Karo’s work here.
Sean Winn
Based in Atlanta, Georgia, artist Sean Winn creates youthful figurative paintings that focus on human interaction with the goal of starting a conversation about mental health. Sean received his MFA from the University of the Arts, London, and has been featured in the Saatchi Art print catalog and the “One to Watch” interview series. Virginie Gallois
French artist Virginie Gallois’s current body of work is inspired by the myth of Arachne. Virginie uses color and drawing to intertwine threads and connect the elements to evoke one of the oldest activities of humanity––weaving––whose symbolic value is founding for our societies. Virginie has been featured in the Saatchi Art print catalog and has exhibited at The Other Art Fair. Since 2008, she has taken part in numerous group and solo exhibitions internationally.
