100 Curators 100 Days – Day 15

If you haven’t heard by now, we are very excited about our new project 100 Curators 100 Days which launched recently with a story in The New York Times.   For our 100 Curators 100 Days project, we invited top curators from around the world to select 10 Saatchi Online artists to feature in a collection.

Just 15 days in, some of the curators featured include Britt Salvesen, Head of the Wallis Annenberg Photography Department, LACMA, Peter MacGill, President Pace/MacGill Gallery, and Matthias Harder Chief curator Helmut Newton Foundation among others. We’ve already been blown away by the selections made and the reactions from the art community as well as collectors who have discovered great new talent.

The project  has also peaked the interest of a lot of our favorite publications and websites.  A sampling of press coverage includes  The New York Times, Fast Company, Cool Hunting,  The Gallerist and more.  We’ve been overwhelmed by the outpouring of support on  Facebook and the incredible dialog on  Twitter.
