20 Emerging U.S. and U.K. Artists You Should Be Buying Now
The US and the UK have produced some of the world’s most influential and prominent artists in the art world. Saatchi Art is pleased to announce the 10th edition of its Invest In Art series, focusing on 20 emerging artists from the US and the UK. Artists featured in Invest In Art are selected by Chief Curator and VP Art Advisory Rebecca Wilson for their particular promise and talent. Often these artists have also received previous recognition through international sales, awards, and invitations to participate in exhibitions and residencies. Since launching in 2013, previously featured artists have gone on to experience tremendous successes.

Paula Baader
Paula Baader is a graduate from the prestigious Royal College of Art in London, as well as the Academy of Fine Arts in Münster, Germany. In 2015 her work was selected for the Summer Exhibition at London’s Royal Academy. As the winner of Showdown by Saatchi Art, Paula work was exhibited in Saatchi Gallery in London. Anthony Banks
Anthony Banks received his MFA from the Royal College of Art. His paintings has shown throughout the UK, as well as internationally in Spain and China. Check out Anthony’s portfolio.
Ed Burkes
A graduate of Falmouth University, Ed Burkes has exhibited his works throughout the UK. He is the winner of the Wilhemina Barns-Graham Travel Award and was shortlisted for the Bloomberg New Contemporaries. Check out Ed’s portfolio.
Aschley Cone
Aschley Cone has exhibited her work throughout the US and internationally in the UK and Germany. Most recently, her works have been featured in New American Paintings Magazine. Check out Aschley’s portfolio.
Zach Cramer
Zach Cramer received his MFA from the prestigious Rhode Island School of Design. His works has been exhibited in the US, China, and Japan at the Kochi International Triennial. Check out Zach’s portfolio.
Ben Dunn
Most recently, Ben Dunn has had a solo show at Sand Point Gallery in Seattle. He has completed several artist residencies and has exhibited his work both in the US and internationally. Check out Ben’s portfolio.
Ben Edmunds
Ben Edmunds is a graduate from Wimbledon College of Art in London and is currently earning his MFA at the Royal College of Art. His work is in both private and public collections in the UK, US, and Norway. Check out Ben’s portfolio.
Nicholas Griffin
Nicholas Griffin received his BFA from Falmouth University and was the winner of the Midas Award in 2016. He has completed artist residencies and most recently participated in the fifth edition of The Other Art Fair. Check out Nicholas’ portfolio.
Kate Hunt
Kate Hunt received her MFA from the Slade School of Art, London and her BFA in painting from the Chelsea College of Art and Design. Her paintings have been exhibited extensively in London. Check out Kate’s portfolio.
Sunyoung Hwang
Sunyoung Hwang is the most recent winner of the Chadwell Award and has previously won the Steer Memorial Prize for painting. Jack Killick
Jack Killick received his post-graduate degree from The Royal Academy School in London. He has extensively exhibited throughout London and has most recently participated in The Other Art Fair. Check out Jack’s portfolio.
Tristram Lansdowne
Canadian artist Tristram Lansdowne is a graduate of the Rhode Island School of Design. He has shown work in the US and Canada, received several grants and awards including the Julius Griffith Award, and has been invited to participate in several residencies. Check out Tristram’s portfolio.
Xiaoxuan Liu
Xiaoxuan Liu has exhibited her work nationally throughout the US and internationally in China, Japan, and New Zealand. As a graduate of the Art Institute of Chicago, she was awarded the Presidential Award. Check out Xiaoxuan’s portfolio.
Lydia Maria Pfeffer
Austrian artist Lydia Maria Pfeffer is a graduate of the School of The Art Institute of Chicago, receiving her MFA in Painting. She has received the Frank Shapiro Award for two consecutive years in 2012 and 2013. Check out Lydia’s portfolio.
Nina Royle
Nina Royle is the recipient of the Goldsmith’s Company Aiden Therlfall Trust Award, which granted her to further develop her work in India and Japan. Her paintings have been shown throughout the UK. Check out Nina’s portfolio.
Devlin Shea

Laurie Smith
Laurie Smith is a recent graduate of Goldsmiths, University of London. Laurie was awarded the Neville Burston Award for painting in 2016 and was shortlisted for the Worshipful Painter/Stainer Award. Check out Laurie’s portfolio.
Aliza Sternstein
