London: ‘Say Cheese’ with The Art of Dining
This 7-10 April 2016 The Other Art Fair are thrilled to bring you ‘Say Cheese’, an immersive dining experience by the celebrated Art Of Dining combining two of the fair’s favourite activies: photography and food.
A unique photo-culiinary experience, this is not one to be missed as Moro-trained chef Ellen Parr tricks the senses with her gourmet four-course fine dining experience.
Visitors will feast their eyes on Martin Parr inspired plates of food, recreated from his renowned photographic series. While the dishes’ appearance will remain faithful to the kitsch Parr style, looks may deceive as Ellen playfully inverts sweet and savoury, exploring flavours and spices from all around the world for an unexpected delight.
‘Say Cheese’ will all take place in a corner of the fair, transformed into a fully immersive world of ‘Man of the Moment’ Martin Parr by set designer Alice Hodge. Eat in the quintissentially British dining room capturing Parr’s unabashed love for the chitzy, or lounge in ‘The Living Room Bar’, a fully stocked bar serving retro-classic cocktails as seen in Martin’s photography.
