Daniel Coves has been selected for the prestigious BP Portrait Award which takes place at the National Portrait Gallery in London (20 June – 15 Sept). The BP Portrait Award is the most important prize for portraiture in the world and its aim is to exhibit ʺthe most outstanding and innovative new portraits from around the worldʺ. Congratulations to Daniel!

Daniel, born 1985 in Spain, is the recipient of many awards and grants for his meticulous figurative paintings which capture moments suspended in time, drawing influence from cinema. His works are painstaking in their execution and have a mesmerising quality that inspires repeated viewing.
He has exhibited his work in many shows in Spain, Portugal, France, Germany and the UK.
