Lykke Steenbach Josephsen
Lykke Steenbach Josephsen has established herself as one of the most talented portrait painters in Denmark and we feel the international art scene should definitely take note, as well. Her portraits are striking, instinctive and driven by a deep understanding of the people that she portrays, resulting in strong stories told in a beautiful visual language.
Her works have been exhibited at various solo and group exhibitions in Denmark, Germany, Sweden and Spain. In 2011 she was selected as one of the 40 finalists among 3,000 Nordic artists in the prestigious Brewer J.C. Jacobsen’s Portrait Award at the Museum of National History in Denmark.
