Art We Love

“Art for Your Ear” Podcast

Art for Your Ear

Danielle Krysa, one of our favorite bloggers and the woman behind The Jealous Curator, has launched a new podcast series called “Art For Your Ear.” Not only is it hilariously funny, but it’s insightful as well. Released on iTunes and accompanied with visuals on her blog each Saturday, this series offers you an insider’s access to contemporary artists and their lives—before they’re in your Art History textbooks.

As Danielle explains:

Here’s the idea behind ART FOR YOUR EAR… I want to bring you stories from some of my favorite contemporary artists {and ok, I really want to hear their stories too!}.  When I studied art history in university, my favorite part was, well, basically the gossip. I loved hearing why artists did certain things… what was going on in their personal life, stories about other artists they knew and worked with. I want art for your ear to be exactly that – 25 to 30 minutes of inside-scoop stories from the artsiest people I know.

We love this series so much we are sponsoring it this month, along with offering readers of The Jealous Curator 10% off all art purchased from Saatchi Art. (Subscribe here to find out the code!)

Our Saturday mornings are definitely more fun and full of art, thanks to Danielle. We hope you’ll join us, wherever you ‘cast!
