5 Tips to Prepare for Sales Periods
Our next major sales event is right around the corner, and it’s a valuable opportunity to get your work in front of a larger audience of engaged collectors. Our sitewide sales are some of the most active times of year for Saatchi Art collectors—a moment when visibility, preparation, and presentation can make a big impact.
Whether you’ve participated in one of our sales before or this is your first time, now is the perfect time to get your portfolio in top shape. We’ve put together five key tips to help you prepare your art and profile, so you’re set up to attract attention and make the most of the increased traffic and buyer interest.
1. Double-Check Artwork Availability
Ensure all works marked “For Sale” in your Studio portfolio are currently available to buyers. Confirm the status of any potentially expiring artworks. This proactive step prevents buyer disappointment and ensures a seamless purchasing experience.
2. Upload Additional Images of Your Artwork
Since the collector can’t be in your gallery to inspect the artwork themselves, it’s useful to provide viewers with images that provide more detail and perspective. Supplement your primary images with at least three additional views, such as close-ups, side angles, installation shots (if applicable), hardware details, and your signature. This level of detail significantly increases buyer confidence and sales potential; artworks with at least 3 additional images are much more likely to sell.
This painter does a great job of providing consistent detail in their artwork images. All the intricate detail and color of Suren Nersisyan’s Impressionist painting is retained with a close crop.

3. Add Education & Exhibitions to Your Profile
Elevate your profile by adding relevant education and exhibition information. Concise descriptions of your background and experience lend credibility and establish trust with collectors. We recommend the following format:
Education
Degree – Institution, Location, Year
Exhibitions
Exhibition Name (Solo/Group), Venue, Location, Year
4. Promote Your Profile via Social Media
Leverage social media platforms strategically to promote your Saatchi Art profile and artworks.
A simple and effective approach: share an image of one of your available artworks and include the key details in your caption—the promotional code, the sale period, the percent off, and a direct link to your Saatchi Art profile or artwork.

5. Don’t Forget to Check for Offers and Orders
Lastly, regularly check your Offers and Sales Dashboards for potential offers and orders. Stay alert for email notifications and prioritize quick order fulfillment. Timely responses and prompt shipping are critical to customer satisfaction and sales success.
